Cayman Airways - system-wide re-branding programme
Scope
A system-wide programme to revitalise the Cayman Airways brand - yet retain a long-standing and very familiar icon associated with the airline.
The current identity (the turtle icon) was enhanced by infusing an important – yet missing – ingredient – that of true Caymanian Heritage.
This sense of “being Caymanian” needed to be at the very centre of the airline's activities - a core brand principle from which every initiative within the company could stem.
It was crucial to carefully balance the juxtaposition of this heritage with the existing warmth and humour of the very familiar turtle icon.
